ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule

 The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will take place from February 19 to March 9, 2025, marking the tournament's return after an eight-year hiatus. Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will co-host the event, which will feature the top eight One Day International (ODI) teams.

Participating Teams: The tournament includes eight teams divided into two groups:

  • Group A:

    • Pakistan
    • India
    • New Zealand
    • Bangladesh
  • Group B:

    • Australia
    • England
    • South Africa
    • Afghanistan

Tournament Format: Each team will play three group-stage matches, facing every other team in their group. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals will compete in the final to determine the champion.

Venues: Due to political tensions, India's matches will be held at a neutral venue in Dubai, UAE. The rest of the matches will take place across various cities in Pakistan, including Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. Notably, the final is scheduled to be held in Lahore.

Prize Money: The total prize pool for the tournament is $6.9 million, a 53% increase from the previous edition in 2017. The champion will receive $2.24 million, while the runner-up will earn $1.12 million.

Indian team player list


India's squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has undergone recent changes due to injuries. Notably, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the tournament due to a lower back injury. Harshit Rana has been named as his replacement, and Varun Chakaravarthy has been included in the squad. Additionally, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Mohammed Siraj, and Shivam Dube have been named as non-traveling reserves.
